Create a New Booking

A new booking is created in the Bookyt backend via a new process. You enter the rental period, rental item or resource group, renter, and rate.

Create Booking

1. Open “Process” and select “New Process”.
2. Enter the rental start and return date.
3. Select the specific rental item or, alternatively, the appropriate resource group.
4. Enter the mileage or meter reading if required.
5. Select the renter from the database or create a new renter.
6. Select or verify the appropriate rate from the price list.
7. Click “Check” to review the entries.
8. Click “Apply” to save the booking.
9. If required, open the forms for the booking confirmation or rental agreement.

Note

If the specific rental item has not yet been determined at the time of booking, use a resource group. This allows Bookyt to display available options and lets you assign the specific item later.
