Here you define the minimum rental period (for example, 1 calendar day). Gross rental price Enter the price for this base rental period (for example, EUR 45.00). This amount is always charged as soon as a rental is made, regardless of whether the rental lasts longer.
Additional Rental Duration
General Explanation
If the total rental duration exceeds the defined base rental period, you can specify here how the additional days (or hours/periods) should be calculated.
Extended Duration Options
- Disabled: Only the base rental price is charged. Additional days or hours are not charged separately.
- Repeat: If the base rental period is exceeded, additional cost blocks are added continuously until the defined additional duration is reached.
Extended Duration Settings
- Extended duration until: Define the period for which the extended duration calculation applies (for example, 1 calendar day). Example: If 1 day is entered here, an extended duration amount is charged for each additional day.
- Gross amount per extended duration: Enter the price for the extended duration here (for example, EUR 45.00). Example 1: If “Extended duration until” is set to 1 day and there are 3 additional days, this amount is charged 3 times. Example 2: If “Extended duration until” is set to 3 days and exactly 3 additional days apply, this amount is charged once.
Optional Extended Duration Amounts
- Fridays: Separate surcharge for Fridays
- Saturdays: Separate surcharge for Saturdays
- Sundays: Separate surcharge for Sundays
- Public holiday: Separate surcharge for public holidays
These optional surcharges are only charged on the specified weekdays or on public holidays.
Example of a Specific Calculation:
- Base rental period: 1 day → EUR 45.00
- Extended duration until: 1 day → EUR 45.00
- Total rental duration: 4 days
- Result: 1 day base rental (EUR 45.00) and 3 days extended duration (3 × EUR 45.00)
- Total: EUR 45.00 + EUR 135.00 = EUR 180.00
