Setting Up Online Booking

Online Customer Rebooking

You can enable your customers to rebook directly online. The customer logs in on the frontend, views the booking, and can rebook it directly according to the configured logic. Important: The rental price must be at least equal to the previous rental. The customer accesses the booking via the customer area and can rebook it from there.

Description of the Online Booking Process

Step 1: Input Form

  • The input form is embedded directly on your website.
  • The customer selects the rental location, the category of the object to be rented, and the rental start and end dates.
  • Each location has an info box with its address and opening hours.
  • When the customer clicks “Check Prices and Availability,” the system checks in the background whether vehicles are available.

Step 2: Prices and Extras

  • The selected rental object is presented in detail.
  • The total price is displayed gross.
  • Option to recommend the offer to others.

Step 3: Personal Details

  • The customer can log in or continue as a new customer.
  • They enter their personal details and the desired payment methods.

Step 4: Booking Overview

  • All booking details are summarized.
  • After clicking “Book with Obligation to Pay,” the reservation becomes binding.

Next Steps

  • The customer receives an email with the confirmation and rental agreement.
  • Optionally, mobile number verification by SMS can be carried out.
  • You can now see the process in the occupancy schedule and plan accordingly.

Online booking setup is now complete!
