Create a Standalone Sale
If you want to create an invoice without a rental, for example for the sale of an add-on item or an additional service, follow these steps:
- Open the transaction screen: go to the transaction screen in the Bookyt software.
- Change the purpose: Set the purpose to “Invoice only”. This indicates that this is a standalone sale that is not linked to a rental.
- Hide the rental-related fields: After you change the purpose, the fields normally intended for rental-related information are hidden automatically.
- Line items and invoice amount: Enter the desired items or services under “Line items”. These items should previously have been maintained under “Administration”
- “Items” to ensure correct billing.
By setting the purpose to “Invoice only” and hiding the rental-related fields, you can easily create an invoice for a standalone sale. This enables you to bill additional items or services smoothly and accurately.
